Data management policy
/home through NFS
Volume to store personal data of each user.
- Creation of directory for users
During the validation of an account a directory under "/home" for each user will be created automatically.

Quota : each user has 3Gb available on the /home volume
Backup : once a week at CC
ACL : not activated
/savedir through NFS
This volume is for data backup. Please only put results files or important data.

/work through BeeGFS
Both a user and or group can have a dedicated directory under "/work", for temporarily saving large amount of data during the job executions. It's a parallel storage, which is very fast for I/O operations.

/scratch
Each submitted job has a temporary directory on the local /scratch repository, which can be accessed by all users. It's a little local space storage. You can add an environment variable to your submission script like this : SCRATCH_DIRECTORY=/scratch/${USER}/${SLURM_JOBID}
/groups through NFS
The /groups of APCHOME volume is available on the master node.
It allows each group to share some data with external collaborators.
